Itinerary

Day 1:
NEW YORK – FINGER LAKES – NIAGARA FALLS
In the morning, we depart from the Big Apple heading north, crossing the Delaware Gap towards Watkins Glen State Park (or Montour Falls), in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Once arrived, we hike through Watkins Glen Canyon (or Montour Falls) to visit its beautiful waterfalls, then we continue the journey towards Niagara, where we arrive in the late afternoon, passing through Seneca Lake. The tour continues from the American side of the falls, where we also visit Goat Island and the 3 Sister Islands, while in the evening, we visit the Canadian side of the falls, where you can admire the wonderful light and color shows.
Overnight stay: Niagara Falls, Canada – Ramada Super 8 or similar

Day 2:
CASCATE NIAGARA – NEW JERSEY
Leaving the hotel, you can still visit the falls up close, experiencing their roar aboard the Maid of the Mist boat (from April to October). In winter until April, when the Maid of the Mist is not available, you can admire the falls from behind through the Scenic Tunnel. In the late morning, we depart for the state of New York. After lunch along the way just a few hours from New York, we'll visit a fantastic outlet where you can purchase products from famous brands at amazing prices. We arrive in the evening at the hotel, in New Jersey.
Overnight stay: La Quinta Hotel & Suites, Fairfield/Clifton - NJ

Day 3:
NEW JERSEY – PHILADELPHIA – WASHINGTON DC
Departure from New Jersey towards Pennsylvania to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. Arriving in the historic area of the city, we visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, Constitution Square, and the Congress Hall. We continue by strolling along Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America. We continue with a panoramic tour of the city, including the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the historic part of Philadelphia, and more... Before leaving Philadelphia, we'll see the famous "Rocky" steps before heading to Lancaster County. We begin the visit with a tour on an authentic Amish carriage through the village to learn how this community lives today, without any technology, electricity, telephone services, or appliances. After the carriage ride, we proceed to visit the Amish market where we can purchase handmade products. In the late afternoon, we depart to reach Washington D.C. by early evening.
Overnight stay: Wyndham Garden Washington DC North BW Parkway or similar

Day 4:
WASHINGTON DC – NEW YORK
The day begins with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, including the changing of the guard at the Kennedy family's mausoleum. Visit to the Capitol, Senate, and White House, the heart of the American government. We continue the tour by visiting the Air and Space Museum (entrance not guaranteed) before proceeding to the Lincoln, Washington, Korea, and Vietnam War Memorials, as well as those dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Jefferson. In the late afternoon, we depart northward for an evening arrival in New York.
